About the Patron of the parish

St. Theresa of Lisieux

Popularly known as the Little Flower, Theresa received permission to enter the Carmelite convent in Lisieux at age fifteen. Her autobiography explaining the Little Way of loving God in the ordinary things of life is a spiritual classic; her cult became widespread in the twenties when she was canonized and made Co-Patron of the Missions and of France. She is also the Patroness of Aviators and Florists. Liturgical celebration: October 1st.
