12th Sunday OT – 2017

Being a believer, I cannot keep my faith only to myself. I am obliged to proclaim it by words and deeds.

When Jesus says that “nothing is concealed that will not be revealed” He does not talk about the revealing of private secrets but about the proclamation of our faith in the God’s kingdom. Though Jesus was explaining to His disciples number of stories and parables in private, He does not say: “keep it secret”, but “speak in the light, proclaim on the housetops”. He encourages them to spread the Gospel message. And the same He speaks to us: proclaim the Gospel.

We may encounter all kinds of difficulties in our proclaiming but we shall not get discouraged or be afraid. In all cases we shall consult our heavenly Father who knows everything and to whom we are much more worth than anything else. Every of our deed, every word, even a thought is known to Him, and He pays attention to everyone of our prayers.

If we dedicate ourselves to the spreading of the Gospel message and the kingdom of God, He will give us everything needed to fulfill this task well, and even our of our misery He will make something good.

Just trust God and keep your heart and mind open to His inspirations.
