Holy Trinity Sunday – 2017

Our faith is a great one. We confess that we believe in the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Our Father is Almighty, He can and may do everything and anything, and He is a loving and very merciful one to all who come to Him and ask for His love and mercy. He is so loving that gave us His only Son, Jesus Christ, made us free from evil and worthy to live in heaven. Remember the words of St. John, the Evangelist: “God loved the world so much that He gave us His only Son” (see Jn 3,16).

Jesus Christ is the only-begotten Son of God, the Father. Being born as a man became and our Savior and our brother. He is our leader and shepherd that gives His life for us. He wants us to be and live with Him in the heavenly kingdom, a kingdom that will never end. He gave us His word to be a light for us on our way to the eternal home and His body to strengthen us on this pilgrimage through the earth.

The Holy Spirit – as the eternal flame of God’s love – is given to us as the fulfillment of Jesus’ promise to be our guide and educator during our journey to heaven. He is the One who leads and directs us when we do not know what to do, where to go. He is the Consoler in our troubles and difficulties, helping and supporting us in everything. He enlightens us and gives inspirations, and – when we do not know how to pray – pleads for us in a way that is difficult to express in words.

One Go, the Holy Trinity is the perfect community of Persons: the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Let us learn from our God how to be a real and true community. Our God is great!
