V Sunday of Easter 2017

We are in a constant search of something. Even we do find something, there always is something else. Trying to be ‘original’, we do things in so called “our own way”, “my way”. And even if we are recognizing that it is not so ‘original’ and filled with all kinds of weak points, it is “my way”. It is pretty hard to admit our own weakness and mistakes because we would have to admit our failure. And we do not want, by all means, to fail but to feel victorious.

God has a way for all of us and its name is Jesus Christ. Do we know well God’s way? Do we know and accept His truth given to us by the teaching of Jesus?

If we do not know the One and the Other we are walking the wrong way – it won’t lead us to “the Father’s house”, to our final dwelling places. If we do not accept God’s truth, we are excluding ourselves from the “Father’s house”.

Jesus’ example of life is the right way leading us to the eternity and union with the Holy Trinity. Jesus’ teaching, His Word, is the only truth giving us the proper understanding of what is right or wrong. Accepting and living by this Word gives us eternal dwelling places with God. The only true Giver of a real and never ending life is God Himself.

Let us make Jesus our way and our truth and our life.

Rejoice, Jesus Christ is risen!!!
